A 7-litre wood-fired copper samovar with a dark, smoky oxidised finish for those who want a different look. It works by burning wood in the central chamber and keeps the water hot for a long time. The fire base is removable, so you can carry the samovar in parts and clean it easily. The body is 99.9% copper and tin-lined inside; the oxidised exterior has been darkened on purpose. Do not polish this finish – wiping it with a soft, dry cloth is enough.
Use and care
- Light the samovar only outdoors in a well-ventilated place, on a flat, stable, non-flammable surface.
- Fill the water tank first; never light the samovar without water.
- Put only dry wood in the fire chamber; never use liquid fuel.
- Once fully cool, empty the ash, hand-wash the body with lukewarm water and dry it.
